It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dick Veldhuijzen, founder of Veldhuyzen Kaas, on Sunday the 23rd of July.

We will remember Dick as a true innovator in the Dutch cheese industry, bringing his beloved colored and delicious cheese creations to all corners of the world.

With his unique personality and passion for cheese, he was able to inspire friends, staff, industry-colleagues and consumers in the Netherlands and far beyond.

We thank Dick for his legacy. Our thoughts are with his family.
